Why do Moo Music?
Moo Music classes are more than just a music class or a parent and toddler group! We sing, we dance, we play and we have fun. Our musical fun and interactive classes are a lovely way to interact in some creativity with your little one. Your children can enjoy our fantastic original songs developed by Early Years Educators and professional musicians whilst engaging in imaginative role play, sign language, sensory play and parachute games to name just a few of our activities. All this alongside the singing, movement and instrument work that you would expect at a music based class. Classes not only develop musical ability and enjoyment but they can also contribute to your child's speech and language development, motor development and social skills. The songs are originally written just for Moo Music and WARNING they are very catchy and soon you will be singing them in the shower or whilst shopping in the supermarket, just like me!!
We Sing:
Moo Music is based around over 100 very catchy songs with clever tunes and simple yet effective lyrics. The songs are loved by all. Sometimes we get funny looks when we are singing them out at the top of our voices... in the post office queue! Singing has been clinically proven to release endorphins and increase levels of Oxycontin which makes you happy.
We Moove:
Many of the songs introduce different types of dance while others just require little ones to run around. Most little ones are very tired by the end. Movement helps babies and children develop major motor skills from a little one observing the room in different places and directions, to following sounds, to jumping, skipping or hoping as they get older.
We Play:
The whole class is really a structured playtime but included within the classes are some game songs which everyone really enjoys. Game songs are a great way to learn simple directions and commands. Playing also supports children to learn about themselves, the world and others around them.
We Learn:
There is something to learn in every song - both physically and mentally. Although ultimately a fun class, the team of child education specialists behind Moo Music have ensured that a wide range of basic skills are incorporated into the classes. The little ones don’t really notice but you will.
We Have Fun:
Ultimately this is what it’s all about. The fact that little ones learn skills and exercise is just a bonus to the fun being had. You as a grown up should have as much fun as your little one, from smiles to laughter, doing it together, makes memories.
We Love It:
It’s the highlight of my week and undoubtedly will become yours too. We sing the songs at home and in the car but it’s not the same as when we all come together. It really is a special time and the highlight of the week.
